We’ve all come over a little giddy at H&H towers thanks to our latest award win – we’ve been crowned European Employee Engagement Consultancy of the Year 2017 at the Employee Engagement (EE) Awards!

The annual awards ceremony at Wembley Stadium celebrated the crème da la crème of companies working in the Employee Engagement industry. Obviously we were both honoured and over the moon to be named as one of the best in the business – so much so that a few of us had a tipple to celebrate!

Our Kris (he’s H&H’s head of brand and marketing) said:H&H handed top accolade at the European Employee Engagement Awards , Image 2: Kris Quote

“Over the past year alone our work has directly touched the lives of more than 1.2m people across the globe. Which is reward enough, but receiving an award like this is a huge boost – I was so excited at the announcement I even surprised myself with an unbridled ‘whoop’ and fist pump, almost showering my fellow H&Hers in red wine.”

The judging panel comprised influential figures from the EE industry, including Rebeca Tristan of Workplace by Facebook, Natalie Sigona of Rolls Royce and David Littlechild of Lloyds Banking Group.

Other award winners included GSK, Nissan and Fitness First.

Matt Manners, Founder and CEO of the Employee Engagement Awards, said:

“This year the entries have really proven the transformational value that focusing on the employee experience can deliver. Not only do engaged employees help develop a clear competitive advantage but also help their organisations to navigate a world facing continuous change.”

Tom Debenham, Managing Director of People Insight (in partnership with the Employee Engagement Awards) said:

“The quality of entries has again been astounding, showing a shift towards employee engagement as ‘business as usual’.

“Organisations have developed strong internal capability. Instead of looking for single magic bullets, they are taking fully integrated approach that starts before recruitment and extends throughout the employee journey.”

Receiving such prestigious recognition for the work we’re doing to change employees’ lives all over the world has been a wonderful experience. Our one, simple purpose – to transform the way people communicate, interact and connect at work – has never changed, and drives us in delivering truly exceptional results that bring people closer to their organisations and the people around them. Winning this bright, shiny award was just the cherry on top!

H&H was founded in 2011, over a cup of tea in Hull’s ‘Land of Green Ginger’ (Google it; it really is a place!). Headquartered at Hesslewood Hall, we now have offices in London’s Covent Garden and work with clients across the globe. You can learn more about our journey from humble beginnings to becoming the European Employee Engagement Consultancy of the Year in this short video.

Our team is currently made up of 24 lovely, diverse, amazingly talented individuals. Watch this space, however, because a series of significant new contract wins and fabulous new clients means we’ll be growing even more in the coming months.

And we’re not just the European Employee Engagement Consultancy of the year. Check out some of the other wonderful awards we’ve taken home over the years (seriously, we’re gonna need a bigger shelf).
